Harvest Of Arrest Port Harcourt kidnap syndicate busted by police

A notorious kidnap syndicate in Port Harcourt has been smashed and some members arrested.

A kidnap syndicate with their base in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, but operating in most of the South-South and South-Eastern parts of the country, has been smashed by the a local vigilante group after they abducted a victim earlier in the week.
But for the timely intervention of the police, the kidnappers would have been lynched by the angry mob as they were rescued and whisked away to the police command headquarters.

According to reports, the kidnappers met their doom when one of their victims recognized the leader of the gang known as Erimeri, who is the younger brother of a slain cult/militant leader, Soboma George who was killed in a cult war some years ago.
It was the victim who managed to escape that alerted the vigilante group which swooped in on the gang and arrested many of them, including some female members.

The kidnappers were publicly disgraced before being carried away by policemen.
