An Alleged polyandrous wife identified as Chiekube Igbinosa in Akumazi community, Ika North East local government area of Delta State, at the weekend allegedly bit off the daughter’s ear and stabbed her with broken bottles over her boyfriend.

Sources said the fight took place around camp 74 behind Ibori Golf course within the Asaba campus of the Delta State University.
The 46-year-old woman said to have been the first love of an Ibo building materials’ trader who was said to have been deported to Nigeria three years ago from Spain. The loverboy allegedly hoodwinked the woman’s daughter into relationship.

Drama At DSS As Marilyn Ogar Is Transferred To Maiduguri, Then Recalled

The changes at the Department of State Services (DSS), Nigeria’s secret police, entered another phase during the week with new postings and a series of reversals.

TheCable understands that ‎Marilyn Ogar, who was until recently DSS deputy director, public relations, has been transferred to Maiduguri, Borno state, but the posting has now been put on hold following insinuations that it was “punitive”.

Ogar, as spokesperson, was responsible for defending the activities of the agency in the media and she is believed to be paying for some of her pronouncements, notably in the face-off with the Bring

Rapper Capo killed in Chicago

Capo a rapper associated with Chief Keef's Glo Gang was shot dead today in the South Side of Chicago.
Police said the shooting took place around 2 PM yesterday and Capo was hit in the back and hip. The 22-year-old was rushed to a local hospital where he later died. TMZ reports that when the suspects were fled, they hit a baby stroller with their vehicle and also killed a 13-month-old boy.

12 oil workers were burnt beyond recognition after an oil pipeline belonging to Agip Oil exploded in Bayelsa state yesterday July 9th. Former Adamawa gov, Murtala Nyako, son, granted N350m bail

A Federal High court sitting in Abuja has granted former Adamawa state governor, Murtala Nyako and his son Abdulazeez bail of N350 million. Both men are standing trial for a N15billion fraud.

EFCC alleges that the former governor and his son along with two others used five companies- Blue Opal Nigeria limited, Serore Farms & Extension Limited, Pagoda Fortunes Limited, Towers Assets Management Limited and Crust Energy Limited which have been traced to the governor to siphon N15 billion belonging to Adamawa state government.

At the court hearing today, both men pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against them.

President Buhari and VP Osinbajo take 50% pay cut

The presidency announced today that President Buhari and VP Osinbajo have decided to take a pay cut. They will now only receive 50% of what GEJ and Sambo received during their administration.

“I write to forward the completed IPPIS registration form of Mr. President and to draw your kind attention to Mr. President’s directive that only 50% of his salary be paid to him,” the Permanent Secretary of the State House, Nebolisa Emodi wrote to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation yesterday

Osinbajo also agreed to take a pay cut. Buhari will now receive 50% of his annual N14, 058,820.00.
